Used Laptops?

As we've mentioned here we moved to "The Ranch" to finish our Mexican language and culture study. It's going really well so far and it feels like we're making notable progress just in the 2 weeks we've been back.

As we've been getting to know the students here we are realizing more and more how much most of the students are "technology-wise" ill-equipped for the life they are embarking on. If they have laptops the majority are very old (some as old as 12 years) or on the very lowest end when it comes to performance or both. Some have 3 or 4 year old netbooks which really can't handle the workload they need to get out of them.

All that being said, if you have a working laptop that's less than 6 years old that you'd like to donate it would be an INCREDIBLE improvement to what they are currently working with. You can send it to our El Paso address. (If you don't have our address in El Paso, message us and we'll send it to you.) I will wipe all previous information off the hard drives and make sure everything is in working order before giving them to the students. If you'd still rather not send your hard drive feel free to send it without a hard drive and we'll get one for it.

This would be a HUGE help to these brothers and sisters training to be missionaries to unreached people groups here in Mexico and around the world.

p.s. if you have a digital audio recorder that can transfer files to a computer that you would donate it would also be a huge help.
